Name:sarajay
Birthdate:Jul 20
BASIC DEMOGRAPHICS

Name: Sara Jay
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Species: Human (infected with the Immortality bacteria)
Languages: English

APPEARANCE

Height: 5’-9”
Weight: Fairly light for his height
Build: Skinny, athletic, and currently a bit underfed. Sara has a lithe sort of body that lends itself reasonably well to feminine clothing
Skin: Caucasian with Hispanic undertones and a propensity towards lots of freckles
Hair: Poofy frizzy brown. It’s down to the middle of his back (to his waist if straightened) and he keeps it in one ponytail when dressing as a guy or in two ponytails when dressing as a woman.
Eyes: Incredibly Irish green in color and sort of Asian almond in shape. He’s clearly got a weird mix of ethnicities
Other traits: Nothing unusual
Clothes: Sara sleeps most comfortably in sexy female lingerie. Having found safety for the moment, Sara went to bed wearing a sheer form-fitting purple nighty with ruffles and lace over a black lingerie shaping-corset (elastic and hooks, not laces, so it’s not super tight or uncomfortable) with a garter belt, lacy black panties, and thigh-high dark purple tights.

PHYSICALITY

Demeanor: Sara is pretty much unflappable. He’s the sort of person who can, and has, survive the end of the world with a shrug. He’s quick to smile, easy-going, and attentive, always having the air of someone who cares. He carries himself with languid confidence and cheerful sexiness, completely at ease with himself.
Speech patterns: He’s got a nice tenor voice that can be mistaken for a husky female alto sometimes. When talking, Sara is pretty casual, but polite, with even tone and friendliness. On the rare occasions Sara does get mad, his voice stays calm but gets very quiet and icy.

PERSONALITY

Overview: Sara is a genuinely nice sort of person, though he isn’t necessarily a good person. He’s very self-centered in his own way, having chosen to live life as he wanted to without concern for anyone else’s feelings. Highly stubborn and independent, Sara doesn’t like to compromise his integrity and lives by a code of self-reliance and chivalry. He’s not lonely or sad, even though most of the people he knew are dead now, and continues to meddle for the greater good.

Passions: Cooking. Especially baking, but really, give Sara anything vaguely edible and he will love the challenge of making it taste good. He also loves learning new things, wearing fancy female clothes, and being physically active.

Fears: Sara is not afraid of much. He’s made peace with a lot of things normal people would be terrified of. What he’s most afraid of is probably losing his sense of self or being forced to stop living his life as he chooses. He’d hate being trapped.

Strengths: Sara is a source of calm. It takes more than the zombie apocalypse to make him panic and he can keep a level head in most situations. He's intelligent and can mimic most things after he's seen them done once, both physical or mental skills. His photographic memory means he is also a source of random knowledge and skills. It also means he never gets lost in areas he is familiar with and can often find multiple escape routes or shortcuts. The skill he has the most experience with is cooking and Sara can pretty much make a decent meal out of anything edible.

Physically, Sara is flexible with great balance and reflexes. He has training in self defense and contemporary dance, which means he moves in ways most people don’t expect. Against a single untrained opponent, he is able to dodge most attacks or outrun them. He’d have a hard time trying to do any real harm to someone, but escape tends to be his first priority. Recently, Sara has been practicing staff fighting to help with mobility and escaping from mobs of zombies.

Weaknesses: Sara is still just a normal human. He can't kick down a door, much less cleave a zombie in two with a single strike, and he can't keep running and fighting forever without getting tired or making mistakes. He tries to fight smart to make up for it, but will go into bad situations freely if there is someone in need of help or an important enough goal. He’s not going to win fights with his defensive style in the long run either.

He also needs his glasses, which he didn’t wear to bed. He can see well enough to not be instantly screwed without them (things don't start getting blurry until about arms-reach away), but he can't see details at a distance or do much useful at long range. While he knows many skills, he is a master of very few of them. He can't fight like a soldier, pick locks as well as a thief, or shoot like a sniper, but he can at least do the basics. Still, if he's not lucky, his skill level isn't enough to count on to keep him alive yet.

Quirks:
1. Sara loves crossdressing. He’s really been doing it his whole life (blame his mother) and does it because he enjoys how the clothing feels and looks.
2. Despite his attitude and crossdressing, Sara is straight. He has no problems with guys hitting on him, but isn’t sexually attracted to them. He’s comfortable being a guy, will dress as a guy when it’s more appropriate, and has had a really peculiar romantic history.
3. Sara will feed people. He bakes cookies and the like, carries the food with him, and then offers it to people who look like they’d eat it.

HISTORY

Dream: Sara has pretty peaceful and abstract dreams usually. He doesn’t remember them often, but enjoys the sensation of dreaming.
Homeworld: Sara currently lives in a large city in the American Midwest, in the early 21st century. A pharmaceuticals company in the city created a bioengineered “Immortality plague,” basically a symbiotic suite of bacterium that is designed to work within the systems of the human body to repair cellular damage and prevent molecular degradation. In a live body, it works pretty well. The problem comes about when someone infected with the plague dies. They’ve been dealing with a zombie apocalypse for the past few months.
Family/Friends: Sara didn’t really have many close friends. His parents were off in Europe and fine when he had last heard from them. Since the apocalypse, he has met several other survivors, notably Cassidy, but seldom stayed with them for too long.

History:
Sara was born to eccentric parents. His mother had been convinced he would be a girl and gave him the name and clothes she’d picked out for him anyway. He grew up happy and loved in a pretty liberal hippy household. Once he was old enough to take care of himself, his parents returned to travelling around the world for art and pleasure. Sara found his passion in food and acquired a degree in Baking and Pastries. He had been working at a bakery downtown for almost a year when the zombie apocalypse began. Having been grocery shopping on his day off when he saw his first zombie, Sara adapted fairly rapidly to the disaster.

Unlike most people, Sara didn’t fear or hate the zombies. They were just the walking dead, animals following their own sets of prerogatives. He has spent most of the last three months moving around the quarantined and zombie-infested city, observing the zombie’s behaviors and helping out other survivors. Because of his peculiar attitude towards the zombies, Sara seldom stayed with any particular people long before moving on, but he’d leave people better off than before most times. Recently, he met a woman named Cassidy who he actually hit it off with. She had some weird mental quirks, but her intelligence and her fierce persona helped them survive together for a bit. Comparing notes on the zombies with her, Sara created the hypothesis that the Immortality plague might be the cause and that all of the city was actually already infected. Unwilling to share that disturbing idea without proof, he left Cassidy behind one night to go infiltrate the largely abandoned pharmaceutical labs.

He’s been lurking around the compound for the past few days and managed to get into their computer records and research. The company had some buildings with luxury suites for their executives in case anything went wrong (apparently empty) which Sara managed to break into to peruse the data thoroughly. He’d been taking advantage of shower, clean clothes, and comfort when someone already living there snuck up behind him and hit him in the back of the head.

Sleeping: Sara has been knocked unconscious on the floor in one of the luxury security suites in the pharmaceutical company’s compound. He’d secured the room against zombies, forgetting to account for other humans being terrible people.

SKILLS

Primary Skills: Sara is pretty much the best baker you could want. He’s still figuring out his limits, but has a fantastic knack for making delicious meals out of whatever food he can get his hands on. Particularly useful in the apocalypse. He’s also a good dancer, a fast learner, and has excellent fashion sense.
Combat: Sara fights primarily defensively. He knows hand-to-hand self defense combat, mostly dodges, throws, grapples, and the like, plus he’s gotten pretty good at non-lethal staff combat. It’s pretty much a game of keep-away while looking for a chance for everyone to run.
Weapons/Gear: None
Unusual Abilities:
Just his eidetic memory and ability to duplicate mundane skills he’s seen. Oh, and he heals faster and ages slower because of the Immortality plague. And would raise as a flesh-eating zombie when he dies.
